Bachha Baras (Vatsya Dwadashi)

Also called Vatsya Dwadashi, vatsa meaning calf, and by extension a child. Mothers keep a vrat for their children's health and long life. Cows and calves are fed and worshipped, and wheat and milk are again avoided, as on Bol Choth.

Sprouted moong and millet; no wheat, no cow's milk, nothing knife-cut.
