Shravana Putrada Ekadashi

Also called: Putrada Ekadashi, Pavitropana Ekadashi (in some traditions)

Putrada means 'giver of a son' and this Shravana observance is traditionally associated with the wish for children and family well-being. It is distinct from Pausha Putrada Ekadashi, another annual observance with the same broad name. Some lists use Pavitra or Pavitropana for this date, but usage varies regionally.
